Cranberry Pear Lemon Refresher Recipe

Nutrition

Why should I eat cranberries every day for a month?

These bright bitty berries are one of the most powerful berries we can consume. I have a freezer in my garage ONLY for cranberries! When the winter months come, I stock up – cranberries can be very hard to find when I need them in the summer months.

Cranberries are packed with vitamin C, vitamin A, betacarotene, antioxidants, and trace minerals. Even soaked with added sugar in the cranberry sauce at the holiday table, the additives are overridden by the benefits of cranberries! They are an incredible anti-aging, cancer-fighting, virus-banishing, immune-boosting food that can help heal a variety of symptoms and illnesses. Cranberries help heal urinary tract infections, respiratory conditions, streptococcus infections, anxiety, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, pneumonia, and many more health conditions. Adding cranberries to your diet will not only boost your immune system, but it will help heal symptoms that may later turn into more serious conditions.

Cranberry Pear Lemon Refresher Recipe

I love drinking cranberries. This recipe contains ingredients to boost the immune system and refresh your body to full throttle!

This recipe calls for these healing ingredients:

Simply combine all ingredients in a blender, blend, and enjoy!

Aloe vera juice:

Aloe vera leaf is a miraculous healing food that is one of the oldest healing remedies and natural antibiotics in the world. Taken internally, aloe works wonders for assimilation, circulation, and elimination. It is known to purify the blood, reduce inflammation, boost physical endurance, benefit cardiovascular health, and protect the body from oxidative stress. Aloe provides recovery from fatigue and aids in muscle function. It is also able to optimally utilize several vitamins, minerals, and enzymes in the body for effective healing. The alkaline nature of aloe vera helps to soothe acidosis and alkalinize the whole body.

Lemon

Lemons have some of the most absorbable vitamin C and calcium in the plant world, as well as mineral salts and trace mineral salts. This citrus hydrates our organs on a deep cellular level and alkalizes the body. It also does a beautiful job cleaning the liver, kidneys, spleen, thyroid, and gallbladder. Lemons also work hard to purge toxic substances that our bodies collect from our environment, such as plastics, synthetic chemicals, radiation. See Anthony William’s book Life-Changing Foods for more information.

Barley grass juice powder

Barley Grass Juice Powder is rich in vitamins A, C, B and minerals iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus. It is also very high in absorbable protein and contains 20 amino acids, including 8 of the essential amino acids that body can’t produce itself. Barley Grass Juice powder has been shown to strengthen the immune system, alkalinize the body, increase energy, aid digestion, relieve constipation, and improve health of skin, hair and nails. It has also been credited as helpful for healing arthritis, migraine headaches, asthma, fatigue, gastrointestinal and skin issues, cancer, and diabetes – and more.

Pear

This juicy, sweet, and easily digested fruit that is rich in vitamins and alkaline minerals such as vitamins A, C, E, folic acid, niacin, copper, and boron. Pears also contain several anti-cancer properties and are known to be especially good in helping to prevent esophageal cancer, breast cancer, stomach cancer, and colon cancer. Pears are an anti-inflammatory food, making them perfect for those who suffer from autoimmune disorders such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Epstein-Barr, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Endometriosis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, Lyme disease, Hashimoto’s, Meniere’s disease, and Colitis.

Zinc

This trace mineral is the foundation of our immune system! Our bodies desperately need zinc to function. Most of us are zinc deficient, leading to a weakened immune system and leaving our bodies susceptible to many viruses and pathogens. See my recent blog post to read more about zinc and its importance for our health.

Cheers!
