I know you’ve seen them popping up on TV… Commercials ramping up excitement for faster 5G cell service. New towers being installed by the thousands each month.
Seems exciting, the way they talk about it.
But before you rush off to get the new latest 5G equipped phone and WiFi to be up to date with the latest, greatest, and fastest, you might be surprised to find out that there could be big health repercussions coming.
A human experiment of sorts.
What is 5G? Can it affect my health? What do I do if I’m exposed?
This radiofrequency technology has been a growing health concern in my practice in recent years. More and more clients are coming to me with illnesses linked to 5G. I want to share with you information about 5G and how to protect yourself so that you can be empowered with your health.
The Effects of 5G Technology
As technology grows and more and more people are using devices of all kinds, the 4G cellular network has reached the limits of its ability to support so much demand for data. Thus, the need for 5G. This new generation of brand-new technology promises internet speeds up to 200 times faster than 4G, as well as advances that allow for the expansion of technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and more. These advancements are nothing like what we’ve seen before – and with them comes many well-researched, well-documented health risks.
Although telecommunication companies, cell phone manufacturers, and ultimately the entire technology sector claim the safety of 5G, the truth is that with 5G there is too much evidence of potential harm to ignore its risks. Experts all over the world are calling for a halt on this technology in order to further study “hazards for human health and the environment.” In fact, after the FCC refused to update its 25-year-old technology safety standards in December 2020, a federal lawsuit was filed against the Federal Communications Commission in January 2021 for ignoring important data in order to make 5G safety claims.
So what are the risks of 5G? By no means will this be an extensive coverage of them all, but I will touch on the most concerning evidence of 5G harm below. For more detail and more information about how 5G works, I would recommend these resources:
HEALTH HAZARDS
- Increased risk of cancer
- Increased risk of brain cancer (this study caused the WHO to classify radiofrequency [RF] radiation as a possible carcinogen)
- Increased risk of several cancers
- RF radiation at levels complying with safety standards still increased risk for cancer

- Neurological system disturbances
- DNA damage
- Altered brain development
- Immune dysfunction
- Damaged reproduction
- Hyperactivity
- Sleep changes
- Memory damage
- Oxidative stress
Worth the risk? This insurance company doesn’t think so – it classifies 5G as a “high risk” category for health.

ENVIRONMENTAL HARM
Believe it or not, 5G poses a serious risk to the environment and several species within it, including bees and trees – two essential pieces of our life here on earth.
Bees, one of the top pollinators on the planet and a crucial part of why we have food, have been found to be affected by 5G. This study found that the electromagnetic waves altered the bees’ behavior after exposure – and there are numerous other studies with even greater specificity on the disruption in bee colonies. Such small creatures – yet such a monumental disturbance for our planet were they to change their patterns or reduce even further in number. Unfortunately, it’s not just bees – it’s also birds and other wildlife that are affected by 5G.
Did you know plants can perceive electromagnetic fields? Trees and plants near mobile phone base stations have been observed to show more damage, reduced crop growth, and even enzyme changes within the leaves. (More research on the effects on trees found here.)
There’s even a strong argument that 5G contributes to climate change. Even with all of this compelling evidence of harm, there’s so much yet to be studied with 5G – and that is the main concern of all of these scientists.
CHILDREN AT RISK
The American Academy of Pediatrics has written repeatedly to the U.S. government outlining concerns over current regulations for cellular radiation that are outdated and that do not protect pregnant women and children.
Children’s education is putting greater and greater demands on technology – whether in or out of the classroom. More and more 5G tower cells have been popping up near schools, even though the potential long-term effects of this technology are still a viable concern for parents.
“There is a substantial body of evidence that this technology is harmful to humans and the environment. The 5G millimeter wave is known to heat the eyes, skin, and testes… Of particular concern are the most vulnerable among us — the unborn, children, the infirm, the elderly, and the disabled. It is also expected that populations of bees and birds will drastically decline.” – Letter from oncologist Lennart Hardell, MD, PhD and colleagues
How To Protect Yourself From 5G
If you have been exposed to 5G or want to proactively support your body in case of exposure, there are some valuable steps you can take for your health. This is not an exhaustive list, but a powerful one. Certainly, if you discover a 5G cell near your home, it would be well worth considering a move to a different home or taking local action to have the cell removed. Here are some tips to assist your body before or after 5G exposure:
TURN IT OFF.
We all have wi-fi and cell phones these days. One of the best ways to protect yourself is to turn off your wifi router and turn off your cell phones at night. 8 hours of sleep with less EMFs trying to creep in can do a body good.
DETOX HEAVY METALS.
We are exposed to heavy metals daily, whether in our vehicle fuel, our food, jet fuel falling from the sky, tattoos, personal products, and many other sources. I have not yet met a person with whom I could not sense any traces of heavy metals. Heavy metals are a huge disturbance to the body, and can trigger or exacerbate serious health conditions. Radiofrequency waves are what microwaves use to heat up food. What happens when you put metal in a microwave? It sparks, crumples, and can even destroy the microwave. Now, imagine what is happening with those heavy metals sitting in your brain, your thyroid, your liver, your bloodstream, etc. when you get exposed to the intense radiofrequency waves of 5G. I have had clients come to me with rapidly declining conditions – and we discover a 5G cell right outside their bedroom window. The time to detox these heavy metals out of your body has never been more important.
How to do so? There are two methods I suggest, and they work best when working in tandem. One is the Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie (original recipe by Anthony William), and the other is TRS, a zeolite that I’ve seen and experienced work wonders at gently removing heavy metals and other intense chemicals out of the system.
Not only are these steps important for protecting yourself from 5G, but they both also increase overall health.

STAY HYDRATED.
When trying to remove anything from the body, one underestimated tool is hydration! The body can release toxins and radiation, but they need to be flushed out of the body. There are two aspects of hydration you must take into account:
- Quantity: Drink more than you think! What your body needs to function well is half its body weight in ounces (for example, if you weigh 200lbs you need 100 ounces of hydration). Often, to deal with what is happening in the body, one needs much more than that. (Don’t worry about dying from over-hydration – it would be extremely difficult to do so.)
- Quality: What kind of water are you drinking? What’s in that water? The quality of your water is also extremely important. I go over how to clean your water in this article. Besides the purity of your water, you must usually improve its mineral content to help your body absorb hydration on a cellular level. You can easily do this by adding a squeeze of lemon or lime, floating cucumber slices, letting it sit in the sun, or making this super simple and delicious recipe. Pro Tip: Adding these oxygen drops to your water will help assist the absorption of oxygen into your body. When there is dis-ease or blockages in the body, especially in the brain, bringing in more oxygen in the circulation system can help support the return to regular function. Empower Your Awareness to Protect Your Health
Wondering if there’s a 5G cell near you? There isn’t one consistently updated map, but here’s a guide I often turn to. Also, this map is the best updated one so far, but be aware that there are definitely still some gaps.
There are many other amazing resources on 5G – by no means does this article employ them all. I encourage you to do your own research on this topic in order to make the best decisions for your health and well-being.
