Vegan Glowing Golden Milk

“Golden milk” is all the rage these days - and it’s a perfect drink for fall! Here’s my favorite recipe:


  • 2 cups sesame milk or other non-dairy milk
  • ½ banana
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder or minced/grated fresh turmeric to taste
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • Pure maple syrup to taste
  • Optional: cinnamon to taste


  1. In a blender, combine the sesame milk and the banana and blend until smooth.
  2. Add to a small saucepan over low heat. Add in the turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon (if using) and pure maple syrup to taste.
  3. Gently warm to your liking, pour into a mug, and enjoy!
