Vegan Hot Cocoa

We love a good campfire drink! Our family doesn’t consume cocoa, but chaga makes this creamy drink taste similar and has a ton of health benefits! Play with the ratios of this mix to make it to your liking. Travel tip: make the powdered mix beforehand, then simply mix it with your nondairy milk as it warms up!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups nut/seed milk
  • 1 tbsp powdered chaga extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  • Pure maple syrup to taste

Instructions

  1. Add the nut/seed milk to a pot and gently warm.
  2. Add the chaga, spices, and maple syrup to taste. Either stir well to combine, or briefly blend in a blender.
  3. Enjoy!
