Non-toxic Natural Bug Spray

Many brands of bug spray contain dangerous toxins that promise to repel insects reputed to cause serious diseases. After years of testing, I have found the following easy, all-natural solution to be effective against all bothersome bugs - without our skin absorbing harmful chemicals.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz bottle of witch hazel
  • 30 drops combination of lemongrass, citronella, & thyme essential oil

Instructions

  1. Add the 30 drops (combined) of the essential oils to the 6oz of witch hazel in a glass spray bottle.

  2. Spray directly on the skin to avoid all insects.

Recipe Notes

I use Le Away from Butterfly Express and this kind of Thayer's witch hazel.
