Ashwagandha, formally referred to as Withania somnifera and commonly known as winter cherry, is a short tender perennial flowering shrub that belongs to the nightshade family. Ashwagandha is native to India.

Ashwagandha has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries to provide mood support and energy enhancement. Seems to be working!
I've long been a fan of ashwagandha, but I'd only ever had it in pill form. When I noticed I could use its assistance again, I turned to SotT as I liked their cramp bark glycerite! To other women who notice they get a sense of existential dread during key points of their menstrual cycle, I suggest trying it out. I've noticed that this month the stress, anxiety, and dread is far lighter than before. Leaving it at four stars as it's only been a few weeks, but I'm confident it'll continue to be helpful.
